ABOUT THE
LEAD HERBALIST

Jumbo & Imhotep divine herbal seekers welcome to the Indigi Golden Herbal Academy platform.

I am a Yoruba devotee, certified herbalist, landscape designer, doula, and have a Bachelors of Science degree in Alternative medicine from Everglades University. For the past several years I have lived very close to the earth and deepened my abilities to speak the language of nature and the plants. I have been shown how to deeply commune with these spirits from Elders and community. I was also blessed to spend most of my childhood returning to our family home for summers. My grandparents never really went to the doctors, and my parents didn't either. This was common for black folks growing up in south or rural areas. Black Castor oil, was a cure all and so was fish oil. My parents had a small garden for us growing up and my mother maintained a relationship with alternative healing practices growing up. For a good while I managed an Apothecary on unceeded Chumash lands, and have been spending countless hours getting to know many plant medicines in a clinical light while simultaneously studying alternative medicine, naturopathy, and Indigenous medicine ways.

I was told by a very magical elder to bring forth this knowledge to larger community. Thus the creation of our online herbal platform.
